Our technology

The modern-day root canal is safe, effective, and relatively pain-free. Here at Andrews Endodontics, we invest in the latest endodontic technology to ensure your treatment goes as smoothly as possible.

Our technology

3-D Cone Beam Imaging

This state-of-the-art three-dimensional type of imaging takes the guesswork out of the diagnosis process. Before we ever start our procedure, this important imaging goes beyond the traditional x-ray to show us how many canals exist within your unique tooth—as well as where they are located.

From there, we can diagnose your concern, create a reliable treatment plan, and know whether you actually need endodontic treatment–saving you time and money!

Having a cone beam scan completed is easy—simply stand still and let the machine do the rest. We’ll come away with a high-resolution, three-dimensional image of your teeth, so we can give you the best possible outcome during your procedure.

High-Powered Endodontic Operating Microscope

When it’s time for your root canal, your doctor will use an endodontic microscope, which uses high magnification to let us observe exactly what is happening inside your tooth, in real-time.

After all, the canals inside your teeth are tiny. The naked eye could never see all their details. Our endodontists use the operating microscope to thoroughly clean out the bacteria in your tooth’s canals, to give your teeth the best possible chance and restore your mouth to health.

GentleWave® Procedure

GentleWave allows root canals to be maximally cleansed while maintaining more of your natural tooth structure. This minimally-invasive, proven procedure uses fluid dynamics and sound waves to clean the bacteria out of the tiniest crevices in your root canal structure.

Its cleaning and disinfecting properties can help ensure better outcomes for our patients, with fewer teeth than ever needing retreatment in the future.
